Bookcases, sideboards, dressers, nightstands and beds: pieces with clean joinery made to the size of your space.
Shelves for books are usually about 10 to 12 inches deep. Long shelves can sag under books, so we keep spans short or add support where the load is heavy. A full bookcase wall can mix open shelves with closed cabinets below.
Sideboards and dressers are freestanding pieces sized to the wall they stand against. We plan drawer sizes around what they will hold, from linens to tableware.
A media wall hides cables and devices and gives the TV a clean frame. A floating console keeps the floor clear, as in the media wall below.
A bench, a coat panel and a place for shoes make an entryway work. Built to the size of the hall, they use every inch without blocking the door.
A custom bed can be sized to a standard mattress and built in the wood of the rest of the room, with nightstands to match.
