Most dining tables and desks are about 28 to 30 inches high. Counter-height tables are about 36 inches. A custom piece can be tuned to your chairs and to the people who use it.
Allow about 24 inches of table edge per person, and about 36 inches of clear space around the table so chairs can move back. We measure your room first and suggest the largest size that still leaves comfortable walkways.
Solid wood can be repaired and refinished over the years. Walnut is dark and rich, oak is lighter with a strong grain. Finishes range from natural oil to more protective lacquers for busy family tables.
A desk can stand on its own, float on the wall or join a wardrobe or shelving so the whole wall reads as one piece. Think about cable routes, drawers and where the light comes from.
Every table and desk is drawn in 3D with its exact size, wood and finish, and nothing is cut until you approve the design.
Send us a photo of your space, rough sizes or a picture you like. We draw your piece in 3D to the inch, with the size, wood, finish and hardware. You approve every detail, then we make it by hand in our workshop and deliver it to your home.
